Garage Flooring Company in Metro Atlanta
We serve homeowners across Marietta, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, and the greater Atlanta metro who are done gambling on cheap coatings. Garaginization of Atlanta installs flooring systems built to outlast the mortgage — and we’ve been doing it since 2008.
Tired of Garage Floors That Start Peeling Before the Year Is Out?
You’ve seen it — or you’ve lived it. You hire someone, the floor looks great for a few weeks, and then it starts lifting right where your tires sit. Or you go the DIY route and the whole thing bubbles up because nobody tested for moisture first.
Here’s what we hear from some of our Atlanta homeowners :
“The floor started peeling almost immediately after the last guy finished.”
— We diamond-grind every slab to a proper concrete surface profile before a single drop of coating goes down. Acid etching doesn’t cut it. Mechanical prep does.
“I got three quotes and couldn’t tell what I was actually paying for.”
— We walk you through every step — moisture testing, crack repair, primer, topcoat — so you know exactly what’s going into your floor and why it lasts.
“I couldn’t get anyone to call me back after I paid.”
— Our installation team is made up entirely of W2 Garaginization employees. When you call, you reach the same people who installed your floor.
“The hot tire marks showed up after one summer.”
— Hot-tire pickup is a prep failure, not a product failure. Our two-coat system — 100% solids epoxy primer followed by a polyaspartic topcoat — is engineered specifically to prevent it in Georgia’s heat.

We’ve maintained this rating for over a decade in a high-turnover service industry where complaints are common. That record matters.
We run a moisture test before we touch your slab.

Most companies skip this step because it adds time. We don’t skip it because skipping it is why floors fail. Atlanta’s water table and humidity create hydrostatic pressure beneath concrete slabs that will destroy an improperly primed coating. We test first. We prime for the conditions we find. You get a floor that holds.

Atlanta’s garage flooring company that gets it right the first time, no peeling, no call backs and no regrets.
Epoxy Primer + Polyaspartic Topcoat System (Two-Coat)
This is the system Atlanta’s concrete demands. We apply a 100% solids epoxy primer that bonds directly to the mechanically ground slab, then seal it with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. You get a floor that won’t yellow in Georgia’s sun, won’t lift under hot tires, and won’t bubble from the moisture your slab is constantly fighting.
Decorative Vinyl Flake Broadcast Systems
We broadcast vinyl flake chips by hand across the wet epoxy base — and we don’t stop until the distribution is perfectly even. You choose from our custom flake blends, and we’ll match it to your home’s exterior or interior palette if you want. You walk away with a floor that looks custom-designed, not poured from a bucket.
Metallic Pigment Epoxy Systems
For homeowners who want a showroom finish, our metallic epoxy systems create a one-of-a-kind, marbled surface with genuine depth. No two floors look the same. This system is especially popular in Buckhead, Alpharetta, and Sandy Springs homes where the garage is an extension of the living space.

Concrete Slab Preparation & Diagnostics

We run a moisture vapor emission rate (MVER) test on every slab before we start — no exceptions. Then we mechanically diamond-grind the concrete to a CSP 2-3 profile, chase and fill every crack and expansion joint with flexible polyurea, and degrease any oil contamination. You get a surface that’s ready to hold a coating for 15 years, not 15 months.
Crack Repair and Slab Restoration

Spider cracks, spalling, old expansion joints that have shifted — we address all of it before coating goes down. We use flexible polyurea joint filler that moves with the slab instead of cracking again. You end up with a seamless surface, not a patched-looking one.

Common Questions About Garage Flooring Companies in Metro Atlanta
Why do you use an epoxy primer AND a polyaspartic topcoat instead of just one product?
Epoxy bonds to concrete at the molecular level — nothing adheres better to a properly ground slab. Polyaspartic, on the other hand, is UV-stable and cures fast, making it the superior topcoat for durability and appearance. Using both gives you the best of each product where it counts. A one-product system is a shortcut — and shortcuts are why floors fail.
How does Atlanta’s humidity affect a garage floor coating?
It’s the number-one reason coatings fail in this market. High humidity and the Atlanta water table create moisture vapor pressure beneath concrete slabs that will push a coating off the surface if you don’t use the right primer. We test every slab for moisture vapor emission rate before we start. If moisture is present, we use a moisture-mitigating primer that blocks it. You won’t see bubbling or delamination.
What’s the difference between diamond grinding and acid etching?
Acid etching opens the pores of the concrete surface slightly. Diamond grinding mechanically removes the top layer and creates a concrete surface profile (CSP) of 2-3 — the industry standard for long-term coating adhesion. DIY kits rely on acid etching. Professional installations use diamond grinding. That’s the difference between a floor that lasts one summer and one that lasts 15 years.
How much does professional garage floor coating cost in Atlanta?
For a standard 2-car garage in the Atlanta metro, professional coating systems typically run $3–$7 per square foot, depending on the system, the condition of the slab, and whether crack repair is needed. Most 2-car garages fall in the $1,800–$3,500 range. We provide exact pricing after the on-site assessment — no guessing, no surprise add-ons.
Why do DIY kits from the hardware store peel up so fast?
Three reasons: no moisture testing, no mechanical prep, and a water-based coating that can’t bond to concrete the way 100% solids epoxy does. Hot tires are the final straw — the heat causes the coating to release from the surface. A properly ground, properly primed slab doesn’t have this problem.
How long does the project take, and when can I use the garage again?
Most residential garage floor projects take one to two days. With our polyaspartic topcoat, you can walk on the floor the next morning and drive on it within 24–48 hours. We’ll give you the exact timeline for your specific project during the consultation.
What happens to existing cracks and expansion joints before you coat?
We chase every crack and fill it with flexible polyurea joint filler before coating. Flexible filler moves with the slab as it expands and contracts through Georgia’s seasons — it won’t re-crack the way rigid fillers do. You get a seamless surface, not a patchwork.
Ready to Stop Paying for Floors That Fail?
Here’s what happens in the next five minutes: you fill out the form or call and we schedule a free on-site consultation at your garage. We test the concrete, assess what’s there, and give you a straight answer about what your floor needs and what it will cost. No pressure. No obligation.
The team that shows up is the same team that installs your floor. And every installer is a W2 Garaginization employee — not a subcontractor we called this morning.
